LIVING WITH WAR

I'm living with war everydayI'm living with war in my heart every dayI'm living with war right now
And when the dawn breaks I see my fellow manAnd on the flat-screen we kill and we're killed againAnd when the night falls, I pray for peaceTry to remember peace (visualize)
I join the multitudesI raise my hand in peaceI never bow to the laws of the thought policeI take a holy vowTo never kill againTo never kill again
I'm living with war in my heartI'm living with war in my heart in my mindI'm living with war right now
Don't take no tidal wave Don't take no mass grave Don't take no smokin' gunTo show how the west was won But when the curtain falls, I pray for peace Try to remember peace (visualize)
In the crowded streets In the big hotels In the mosques and the doors of the old museum I take a holy vow To never kill again Try to remember peace
The rocket's red glare Bombs bursting in air Give proof through the night,That our flag is still there
I'm living with war everyday I'm living with war in my heart every day I'm living with wat right now

The song is called Living With War Neil Young. I think...
The song is about war. There are bombs and killing people and guns. and it is not damaging our society. Lots of people are singing about war now a days.

War happens everyday. Well that's kind of obvious, "I'm living with war everyday". Bombs blowing up, "Bombs bursting in air". Basically war is bad but peace will remain is probably what the idea on the issue. I kind of think this is an effective message, (not because I'm just saying it).
Probably because lots of people listen to it so it's probably sending a message to people. Well that's my opinion.

Well this issue is not that serious. War is everywhere and people have to live with it. It's not going to go away tomorrow. Yes war is still around to day so suck it up. And the issue is getting worse because other countries are arming their *** with nuclear weapons and armies that are capable of invading North America, so it's getting worse.

I pick this song because I have too, for real. This is a protest song so I picked it, Nothing interesting there. My opinion is that it's OK, I mean I didn't listen to it but it's OK.

My opinion is that it's okay to express opinion about social things though songs. This is not a fascist. But sometime songs like this will cause fascist regimes to occur. Very bad thing. I hate fascism and government giving unconstitutional and fascist laws. That's my real opinion. Copyright Fascist.

Whole Bunch Of Useless Stuff

You know what I think. I think films are just slick eye-candy that people like to watch. Some people like to watch explosions and destruction on the screen and others like love stories. Sure it's entertainment but it is just a way that film people make money and probably take over the world with entertainment.

Back to the Future. OK movie. Some science dude invented a car that can time travel and is later killed by terrorists. Nice. then the kid goes back to 1950s by accident. Some people kinda want to watch that sort of stuff, others don't. It's just eye candy with the special effects and crap. Also as fake as star wars, almost. Nice movie though.

High School Musical and other stupid musical movies. These movies embarrass people. No one wants to watch these movies, except for people who like these things. To me is not a blockbuster film. Eye candy is what they are. People dancing like mad animals on crack really now. Crack is not good for you.

Lion King. Nice movie, animated, earn lots of counterfeit counterfeit money. Lions talking come on. What next, objects singing Kummbia and meerkats or whatever they freaking are carrying AK-47s destroying beetles. That movie earned lots of money in the market. That's how evil they are. In a way this movie kinda promoting Nazism and Fascism in a way.

Indiana Jones surviving an nuclear bomb, that's not right. If you have seen how powerful those things are. The United States and Russia has enough nuclear weapons to blow up the entire world. A fridge would be blown apart and melt. That is how stupid these blockbuster films are.

These people went to creating movies because they want money. Charging money for popcorn and action figures and toys. Well sure it's your choice to buy them but ether way they're still going to get you money somehow. Money is what they need to get the film going and probably create sequels for more mindless violence and stories. Anyway let me ask you something. Would a bag of popcorn cost $7.00 and would small stuffed animals cost $15.00. My answer would be no. We are in a freaking res session now and they still charge so much for so little. Look a music CD today cost $15 - $25 and probably as low as $12 maybe even lower. Movies cost $22 to 35 maybe even lower. You see what's happening here. They think we are some king of cash magnet. They may even up the cost of CD to $35 and Movies to $40 - $50. Who has that king of money besides millionaires and people with really good jobs. Isn't that freaking ridicules, I wouldn't spend that much money of a DVD. (Although I did buy a couple DVD movies that cost about $25 a piece). That shows how evil and greedy Microsoft and other million-dollar corporations are these days. Fine, let them make us go into a recession. I don't care.

Teens in the Media

What I thing on how teens are represented in the media. I think it is inaccurate how we are portrayed in the media. Well half and half. Are we always happy all the time. Not really.

Example number 1. High School Musical... Teens are always happy. Dancing like mad monkeys singing songs and kissing females. are we so happy that we dance around the school singing "What time is it". Probably not, that will get you expelled from school. This is not an accurate portrayal of teens, well some of it is but most are not. It's just a movie after all, all scripted not real. To me teens are not like that.

Example number 2. Freeks and Geeks... Probably to my and other people's opinion is the most accurate portrayal of teens in the media. But still fake. I don't have much to say about this but Geeks don't know about the male and female body... It's to me is mainly about stereotypes.

Making fun of Geeks. That's nice why not make fun of everyone while your at it.

Example number 3. MTV... What good is a male teen staring at teens having sex and porn. Stuff like this can ruin a young man's mind. why do teens like this stuff. Well we apparently according to the documentary we watched in class seem to be growing up too fast. That is all about this examples.

I have kinda a grudge against the corporations that create the media. All they want is money. Nothing but Monopoly Communists to me. Teens are what they are targeting. They just want our money. Like Disney. I might like some of the movies from Disney but they are an evil cooperate Commies. The sue children and teens for violating copyright. But all they want is money. Same with Hollywood. Teamed up with the evil communist copyright act (the copyright act is against democracy and the constitution). I not a pirate. Pirates can go to the far end of the moon and stay there for the rest of their lives. Well my point states that teens are tricked by these cooperate giants to give money. Gives some money to Africa fools, this is a recession.

The last paragraph is kinda of topic but what I'm trying to say is that teens are portrayed in the media in accurately and teens want to imitate the media. Britney Spears music videos are snaky and female teens want to be like her. soon Girls will be waring nothing but whip cream and a leaf. That's how messed up the media is. But I will not complain any more.

Media

Media Info.

1. I believe that media is really important in my life. I get access to information and news in the world. And without media I be... Nothing. I can't live without the media.

2. What types of media do you feel most passionate about or are most important to you? I say film, television, and comics & graphic novels. Film, well I like movies. Television
is nice. And I like comics. That's just what I am.

3. I like our modern culture. I like some of the new technology that is helping us communicate in different ways, like the computer which connects to the internet. I use media for communication and keeping informed with information around me. To put it simply, I watch TV shows.

4. The types of media I choose are TV shows, Video Games, Books, Music, and Internet.
My favourite TV show would probably be The Simpsons. Although I have lots of favourite TV shows. TV was one of my choices because television is cool. At least I have something to do after school. Video Games is by far my favourite type of media. My favourite games are Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Grand Theft Auto IV..... Playing on PC and Xbox 360 is pretty fun. For a bit.. Book, well books with words and pictures like strategy guides for games. Thats probaby it.

Music so far is ok. I guess... no comment on that. And finally the internet. That is where I do Google searches and go on Youtube. Also play flash and multiplayer games. That is probably it for now.

Im also looking forward to Modern Warfare 2.
